Making A Purchase We are a trade supplier. All goods must be paid for by an approved method. Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and Paypal which also includes AMEX. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship, unless paid for over the phone. Backordered items are not charged until they are ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, post or over via the website using the secure payment process only. |
Shipping And Handling We only accept orders from within the UK. We charge for delivery on all goods. See 'Check Out' for cost of shipping. Note: Delivery costs to some areas are charged at a higher rate. For example Scottish Highlands and offshore, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly. This is due to courier cost's, which are higher for areas that are hard to reach. ie: they involve a water crossing. Delivery costs from £6.50+vat. |
Delivery Schedule We will start to process your order right away. We will normally send your order to you in 1 > 4 business days. Please allow up to 7 days for delivery. All deliveries will require a signature. Delivery drivers are instructed not to leave packages outside your building without a signature. If you are having the goods delivered to site, then please make arrangements for a secure delivery to take place with a signature from a responsible person who can accept the item. |

Tax Charges All orders have 20% VAT added for orders placed from 01 01 2011.

Returns Policy Incorrect or damaged items If you receive an item incorrectly or damaged we will attempt to resolve the problem straight away, (thankfully this is very rare). Should you need to return a product simply because you have changed your mind, it must be unopened, in perfect condition, include all accessories and please note that it will be subject to a 20% handling/re-stocking charge. All postage and courier delivery costs to paid for by you the customer.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) If upon installation an item is found to be faulty we will replace it (limited to 28 days from the date of purchase from us). We can arrange for a chargeable advance replacement, which will be credited when the faulty product is returned. Items must be returned immediately and credits will not be raised if there is no actual fault found or the product has been mistreated or incorrectly installed. Please include a short note explaining the problem and measures you have taken to check the item is actually faulty.
Warranty All products we supply are covered by a minimum of a years warranty (excluding NiCad batteries). Some manufacturers offer an extended warranty and we will arrange the repair or replacement of covered products on your behalf subject to the manufacturers returns policy. Certain products under warranty can be collected and repaired/replaced by the direct company so please always check with the returns department before taking any action.
If you arrange to return anything it will remain your responsibility until we have physically received it. Proof of postage cannot be regarded as proof of delivery. We therefore suggest you use recorded delivery, registered post or a carrier company to return any items. You should also take out adequate insurance for expensive goods to their full value in case of loss or even damage whilst in the postal service.
N.B. The Bitzshop.co.uk returns policy cannot apply to any specially ordered items and you must contact us before attempting to return incorrectly ordered goods or committing to your customer over our DOA Policy for any products especially ordered for you. As a trade supplier we are not obligated to accept any returns, and therefore will be at our discretion. We do aim to please and offer to assist as much as we can.
