This single source system will distribute the audio from a single device such as an iPod or Sky set top box to 4 rooms. Each room has a discrete in wall volume control which drives a pair of ceiling high quality ceiling speakers. The system is centrally powered by a single power pack. Only a single run of low cost Cat5e cable is required to each keypad from the central hub making this very easy and cost effective to install.

This system provides the same solution as above but instead of a rotary knob volume control, a push button volume control is provided in the keypad. An up button turns on the keypad and allows increase of volume and the down button turns off the zone and allows volume down adjustment. Additionally, each keypad is supplied with a mini Infra Red remote control so that the off/on and volume can be adjusted without having to physically touch the keypad. Also, the keypad can accept Infra Red Commands destined for the music source and the Infra Red Command can then be retransmitted using an Infra Red Emitter at the hub. Therefore, if you have the remote control for the source equipment then you can control the source equipment even though you are in a different room.

This multi source hub allows the sources to be remote from the hub. There are 4 x RJ45 inputs for the sources. An ABK-50 or ABK-50-MOD must be used to connect the source to this hub. The IR outputs are on the ABK-50. This hub can drive 4 zones with 2 pairs of speakers per zone.

For additional zones use the ABX-90 as an expansion hub and connect it to this hub via 2 x Cat5e.

Supplied with 1 power supply. A second power supply is required if any of the B outputs are to be used.

This hubs is used as a zone expansion hub from the ABX-89. It connects to the ABX-89 via 2 x Cat5e cables and provides an additional 4 zones with 2 pairs of speakers in each zone.

This hub is supplied with a power supply. A second power supply is required if any of the B outputs are used.

The unit has 4 RJ45 sockets for audio outputs (i.e. 4 zones) and an RJ45 audio input and an expansion output if you want to hang a second hub off this hub to provide 8 zones.

An ABK-50 is required at the audio source to convert the unblanced line level audio source to balanced line level and connect to a Cat5e cable. Cat5e connections can be on a seperate patch panels and patched across using patch leads or the incoming Cat5e cables can come through the brush opening to the right of the panel to save on patch panel ports.

A power supply is included and is fed through the brush opening to connect to the DC power socket on the front.

This panel is 2U and 8 Way siized. A 2U 8 Way adapter plate is required to fit this panel.

This A-BUS audio hub has 8 RJ45 sockets for audio outputs. These are split into 2 banks of 4. The top roll are A and the lower sockets are B. This gives you 4 zones and 4 subzones. i.e. 1A and B, 2 A and B, 3 A and B and 4 A and B. Also 4 RJ45 audio inputs and an expansion output is provided if you want to hang a second hub off this hub to provide a further 4 zones and subzones.

Four ABK-50s are required at the audio sources to convert the unbalanced line level audio sources to balanced line level and connect to the Cat5e cables. This speaker pair provides an active and a passive speaker. The active speaker has an RJ45 conector on the back of the speaker. This allows connection directly to the A-BUS hub using Cat5e cable. No keypad is required. The high quality amplifier is attached to the back of the right speaker.

The right speaker also has an IR receiver to allow control of the speaker and pass thru to control the sources. An ABO-40RC remote control is provided with the speaker.

Speaker cable is then used to connect the right speaker to the left speaker.

The active speaker has an RJ45 conector on the back of the speaker. This allows connection directly to the A-BUS hub using Cat5e cable. No keypad is required. The high quality amplifier is attached to the back of the speaker.

The speaker also has an IR receiver to allow control of the speaker and pass thru to control the sources. An ABO-40RC remote control is provided with the speaker.

This part number only provides one speaker which can be used in as a simgle point speaker for rooms where there is not enought space to have a pair of speakers. There is a switch on the back which should be set to mono in this application.

This high spec ceiling speaker is an ideal compliment to any A-BUS system. This speaker pair is used with the A-BUS keypads. They are passive speakers so they need the amplifier in the keypad. If you are not using the keypad then use the active speakers ABD-C6.
